Joyces's Personal Journey
Joyce earned her MPA from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. In the course of her public service, she served in the Administrations of three Governors; Hugh L. Carey, Mario M. Cuomo, and George E. Pataki. Now, she utilizes over 30 years of experience as an executive-level Public Administrator, government lobbyist, strategic planner, and spiritual leader, to assist her clients in their quest for excellence.
She left State service to focus on transformational activities in her beloved urban community, to provide leadership support for local not-for-profit organizations and to write. Her vision became a reality when she co-authored, It Went Without Saying, A Family’s Journey from Addiction to Recovery with her husband John, and their daughter Jamie. Told in each of their voices, it is a personal story about the power of Love, Faith, and Forgiveness. They wrote the book to encourage others to speak openly about the many faces of addiction.
